Army’s $5 billion light armoured vehicle spend

$5 billion dollars worth of fighting vehicles will be created equipped for peacekeeping and high-threat operations. The German contractor Rheinmetall is now set to build the 211 light armoured vehicles, creating 1,450 jobs across Australia.
